More 5 Gallon Bucket Potatoes Planted 03-15-2020

Today I planted three more 5 gallon buckets of potatoes.

I used some of the seeds that I cut and set out to cure a couple of weeks ago. I’m not really sure if these are going to produce anything or not as some of the seeds seemed a little soft around the edges.

They almost felt like they were rotting. Some of the pieces were really soft so I disposed of them and only used the best ones. I put three seeds in each bucket.

These are supposed to be red potatoes but due to the way they were sent to me I can’t be 100% sure. I had ordered three different types of potatoes from the same vendor at Amazon. They shipped all three types in one box with each type in a plastic bag. There weren’t any labels on any of the bags by the time they arrives. All of the labels were sitting in the bottom of the box so I had to guess the types based on appearance.

They also arrived wet but that is on the UPS driver that left them sitting on top of my mailbox during a rain storm.
