Banana Peppers and Cayenne Peppers Are Planted

I love banana peppers in salads and on pizza so I planted 12 seeds in some peat pellets to see how they would do. I also planted 4 cayenne pepper seeds since I am also a fan of their flavor and heat level.

The cayenne peppers sprouted in 4 days and all looked very healthy.

The banana peppers took ten days to sprout. I was starting to get worried about them and then overnight they all popped up out of the peat pellets and are looking really good.

So far only one peat pellet hasn’t sprouted. That pellet had banana pepper seeds in it.

I will be transplanting the peppers to larger containers in the next week. They are off to a good start so far.
